Today I'm sharing "The Motions" by Matthew West
**Please pause the music in my sidebar before listening to the video**

This song has really hit me hard lately. The first time I heard it on the radio it challenged me to stop "going through the motions" of life. I feel like it is so easy to fall into the business of life that encompasses us. It's so easy to fall away and be distracted from Christ. I find that if I try and keep my mind focused on the Lord throughout the day, it helps to keep me from just going through the motions.

I pray you are encouraged and blessed today! I'm really hoping to get my computer fixed, but I've got to say that it has been nice taking a break. Not necessarily from blogging but from the computer. It can definitely be a distraction for me. I do miss sharing with you all, though!

Have a blessed Sunday!

your comments ring true, to me, too. it is so easy to get caught up in the daily comings and goings and just being routine.

What a great song. Thanks for sharing. I did participate in Worship and praise Sunday this week, I just didn't get it linked up. I will have to do better next time.
Have a great week!

This is one of my favorite songs right now....it really makes you think. I had to chuckle as I was typing this because the other day my friend mentioned a couple of songs and I said, "Those are two of my favorite,", to which she replied, "You have a lot of favorites!" I laughed and said, "I know...there's just so many good ones!" :)
