Oatmeal Raisin has always been one of my husband's favorite cookies. So, I decided to make them for him. He likes his cookies soft and chewy, so I went on my mission to find the softest cookie recipe.

Looks great!
Hi Brittany!
Mmmm ~ they look so yummy! I can never get my cookies to come out soft & chewy (esp. Choc. Chip.) I'm glad that your hubby approved! :o)
I love your little herb garden. What a thoughtful gift. You'll enjoy it for sure. I planted Basil & that's about it. Fresh herbs are so much better than dried.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs,
Mardell
You have made my son a very happy man and a very happy husband! Those look delicious!
Have a happy Friday!
Love, Sharon-Mom
P.S. Will you guys be able to make it over Saturday night for Cam's b-day? I hope so!!!
Hey Brittany, I wanted to share with you something that helps with making soft cookies :) My Dad LOVES soft cookies and my Mom always seems to make them to hard. But if you use a Pampered Chef stoneware baking pan, it makes them soft EVERY time. I don't know what it is, but they are super gooey and soft. Sometimes they look like they are not quite done, but if you let them cool on the stone ware for a few mins. it continues to cook them and then they are super soft! Just thought I'd share! :)
Hi Mardell!
Thanks for all of your sweet comments. I found that the cookies turn out more chewy if you only bake them for the 9 minutes. They look a little undercooked when you first take them out but they turn out wonderful after you let them cool.
I'm hoping the Herb garden turns out! Hope you're doing well!
In Him,
Brittany
