Today I am sharing All I Need is You by Hillsong

Left my fear by the side of the road
Hear You speak
Won't let go
Fall to my knees as I lift my hands to pray

Got every reason to be here again
Father's love that draws me in
And all my eyes wanna see is a glimpse of You

All I need is You
All I need is You Lord
Is you Lord

One more day and it's not the same
Your spirit calls my heart to sing
Drawn to the voice of my Saviour once again
Where would my soul be without Your Son
Gave His life to save the earth
Rest in the thought that You're watching over me

All I need is You
All I need is You Lord
Is You Lord

You hold the universe
You hold everyone on earth
You hold the universe
You hold
You hold

All I need is You
All I need is You Lord
Is You Lord

I love this song. My favorite verses are of course "All I need is You" and also "You hold the universe, You hold everyone on earth."

I hope you are blessed by this song today. There's been so much going on in my life lately. A lot of change. Changes within our church and worship team. I've realized in this time, that change is hard. Especially when you are directly involved in it. I spent two and a half hours praying and seeking the Lord yesterday about what Worship is and what my place is in the worship team. I'm realizing even more and more that all we need is God. He's everything. He's our strength, our love. When praying and seeking God yesterday, He pointed me to these answers on what Worship is and I wanted to share them with you.

Worship is calling upon the name of the Lord.
Worship is praising God for all He does.
Worship is loving God with everything you've got.
Worship is proclaiming God's holiness.
Worship is proclaiming to God "All I need is You."
Worship is allowing God to enter into our hearts.
Worship is more than a song.
Worship is making a joyful noise to the Lord! Rejoicing for all He has done.
Worship is not about us but about God.

I hope you have a wonderful day praising God for all He has done. May you be blessed today!

I want to thank you for hosting Worship and Praise Sunday! I am finding that I look forward to it every Sunday, so thank you!

Change is HARD! I believe the Lord brings change as a ways to shape and mold us! A way for us to grow and learn more about Him! I'll be in prayer for you as I know it's never easy!!

I am working on my post and will be back to link up in a bit!!

Brittany, we will always have questions and need to seek the Lord for answers. That is just part of the growing in God process, when we reach the point that we think we know it all...we are lost.
May God always be there to answer your needs.

Sorry for just now getting here, I posted mine early this morning! Busy day, but FUN. Hope you had a Blessed Lord's day as well. Love the song.

Change is NOT easy, especially in a church. That's usually when the ugly side of some people start to show......Suz

Brittany, you are so right...worship is not about us...it's all about HIM! I will be praying for you, as you go through these changes in your church and worship team. I know change can be difficult...just try to keep your focus on the Lord and that will make it easier.

Pertaining to your comment that you left me....I understand about your being busy these past few days! I was busy spending time with my son and his fiance these past couple of days, so I didn't get a lot of blogging done myself. Thank goodness for scheduled posts!

Love the song! I haven't heard it before, so thanks for introducing me to it. I do love Hillsong! I'm really enjoying W&P Sundays and hearing new songs. :)

Hope your week goes well!

Amen sister! I love that you wrote worship is not about us but about him! Excellent, excellent!!

It's so, so true!!! The holy spirit does his work and there are of course feelings and emotions involved as we seek to praise him with all that we are from the heart but it should always lead us to Him to dwell and meditate upon him, his goodness his power all of his attributes all that make him who he is. Perhaps it may also lead us to our knees and repentance as we are struck by how unworthy we are of his deep love.

Also when we enter to worship we should in reverance and awe from the heart. What matters to him are the things in our hearts. butin all it should all come back to him and praise God if fruit is bore by it. We are made to serve and worship and praise him and I can't wait to do that one day in His prescence forever! Amen!
