Hi there! This is the second Worship and Praise Sunday and I'm excited to share with you! I hope you can join me! See last week's post for why I decided to start it.
If you'd like to join, here are the guidelines:
Today I'll be sharing "Find Me In The River" by Delirious.
**Please pause the music on my sidebar before playing video.
Find me in the river
Find me on my knees
I've walked against the water
Now I'm waiting if you please
We've longed to see the roses
But never felt the thorns
And bought our pretty crowns
But never paid the price
Find me in the river
Find me there
Find me on my knees with my soul laid bare
Even though you're gone and I'm cracked and dry
Find me in the river, I'm waiting here
Find me in the river
Find me on my knees
I've walked against the water
Now I'm waiting if you please
We didn't count on suffering
We didn't count on pain
But if the blessing's in the valley
Then in the river I will wait
I really like this song because it's a great call out to the Lord to come to us. It shows that we'll wait for the Lord.
Sometimes God calls us to wait and I've gotta be honest. That is so hard to do! He doesn't always give us an answer that is yes or no. Sometimes He says wait. So, we wait. But you know what I find? He ALWAYS comes through. He doesn't leave us hanging. Waiting is hard and sometimes painful but He'll always come through.
If God is calling you to wait right now, I want to encourage you to not give up. This verse in Psalm I feel is a great reminder.
"Wait for the Lord. Be strong, and let your heart take courage; Yes wait for the Lord." - Psalm 27:14
Have a blessed Sunday!

That is an awesome song. The verse about waiting is very near to my heart and the events of my life!
What a beautiful song Brittany! I agree with what you said, it is hard to wait on Him, but there are rewards at the end and the beauty is, we do get stronger in Him by waiting.
I posted a praise song too! Come on over for a visit.
See you at church!
Love you, Mom
Hey! Come visit my blog and join the Blog Guild. A great place for Christian bloggers to meet and comment on eachother's blogs!
I will be joining Praise and Worship Sunday next week. Great idea!
Hi Brittany, I came over from Kelly @ Barefoot Mama.
I love praise and worship music and I was so glad to find this.
Hi Brittany!! How are the newlyweds? I feel so badly because you responded to my comment weeks ago about my prayer for my daughters and I don't know if I even acknowledged it. Thank you also for following, and forgive my "sometimer's" brain if I have just forgotten.
I trust all is well with you!! God is at work, as always, and I am continually amazed!!
Love your new meme, and will join in on some Sundays!! Great idea!!
Sweet blessings to you!!

Brittany, Thank you for hosting this. I love this song very much. It is such a hard thing to wait on God, but I truly have seen Him work in my life when I have waited. He is so faithful. Bless you. Hugs, Kathi
What a wonderful song and a great idea! I hope you had a peaceful Sunday!

Dear Brittany,
Sharing Praise & Worship songs is such a great idea. I look forward to visiting all of the ladies' blogs and listening to the messages and great music. Thanks for your sweet comments--and helpful computer tips. Hopefully, I'll get the You Tube thing figured out! The girls and I also love your husband's graphic design and music projects! Also, we were wondering how you got the signature effect when you sign your name on your blog--that is really pretty! God bless you-
Molly
