Today is my sweet sister Sarina's birthday!
She is 28 today! I am so proud of the woman, mother, wife, sister, and daughter she is! She's gone through a lot these past few years but she is so strong and has become stronger through her trials! I love you Sarina! You are an amazing woman!

Here she is with her sweet daughter Alyssa about 2 years ago! 
And here, with both the kiddos: Michael and Alyssa! They are the sweetest nephew and niece ever! Of course, I'm very biased as they are my only two! 
And here's the whole family this past October at my wedding! Her husband Sea-Jay, Sarina, Michael, and Alyssa. Beautiful family. 
Just the two of us! We have about 6 years between us. Growing up, I was the little tag-along that annoyed the heck out of her! As we got older however, we've become really close! I love how our relationship has come to what it is today. Unfortunately, we live 20 hours apart so we don't get to see each other as much as we'd like! We do get to talk on the phone quite a bit though!On a side note, please be praying for her husband Sea-Jay. He had to go in for emergency surgery Wednesday night due to appendicitis. According to the doctor, the surgery went well. So now we're just praying for a speedy recovery!
I love you Sarina! I hope you have an amazing day and wish I could be with you to celebrate!

i have a great relationship with my brother - he lives 8 hours away from us. i love him and miss him and his family. oh, btw, his two children are named michael and alyssa, too. (spelled the same) very weird!!

When people tell you when you were little, "Yeah you argue now, but you'll be best friends when you're older?" People told my sister and I that all the time, and it's true! We get along fine now.

Happy birthday to Sarina! I'll pray for her hubby Sea-Jay, too. It's wonderful you can be close to your sister spiritually even if you are far away geographically. As we get older age differences don't matter so much. Funny how that works, huh?;-) Elena and I are seven years apart, but close otherwise.
