Show and Tell Friday

Show and Tell

This is my first time participating in "Show and Tell Friday" hosted over at Kelli's blog, There's No Place Like Home

This is one of my favorite plants to use as decoration in our home. It is called the Silver Dollar Plant, also known as "the money plant"and I'm sure many of you have seen it before.

This of course is a faux plant that I have in our house but it does grow in the wild.

I love the beautiful simplicity it gives. It really can match with any color, due to it's iridescent white color.

I also have it in two other vases throughout our home. I just love it so much! :) Hope you enjoyed our special decoration!
Have a blessed day!

I grew money plants one summer and they flourished. They dry really well too so you could actually use them in arrangements all year. Maybe I'll try it again this summer. They were really easy to grow - try it this year!

Thanks Kathy! I will definitely keep that in mind! My husband and I will be landscaping and planting our yard and garden this spring, so that would be great!

I've never seen or heard of the money plant, but I like it :0). I'll have to check out our local nursery and see if they can grow here...thrive :0)
Your banner makes me think of Steven Curtis Chapman's song "Where the rubber meets the road" I think it's because of the road and that's what popped into my head :0)
Enjoy your day!

Gorgeous. They look like the 'turtle shell' windchimes. Beautiful how you have them in such a lovely vase.

My Show n Tell is being BLUE today...come on over if you can. I'd love your company.
