Good morning! Last night I made White Chicken Chili for the hubby and I. And oh it was sooo good!
My mom started making this when I was in high school and we have kind of made it a tradition that whenever she comes to visit, we make it. Well, she's not here for a visit but it sounded so good. Especially with this cold, rainy weather we are having.

Here are the toppings: Sour cream, tomato, cheese, tortilla strips, and olives. I actually added the olives and the recipe calls for avocado as well, but we didn't have any.
Here's the recipe. You can click on it to make it larger. Notice the paper the recipe is printed on? My mom gave my sister and I these cookbooks one year for Christmas. It's great because you print your own recipes on the paper. It's filled with our family recipes. I love it!

Mmmmmm! That looks wonderful! It's funny because I posted about soup today too! I would like to try this recipe. I like the recipe cards/paper that your mom gave you. Is it computer paper so you can print things right on there?
Have a happy weekend! We will probably see you guys at church on Sunday and then for movie night?
Luv ya,
Sharon (Mom)

YUMMMMM!!! I love white chicken chili! It is so good and good for you!! Happy New Year to you and yours!!! Love the new layout by the way!!!
Brittany, That soups looks so good. I really like that cook book. I'd love to have one similar to that. I want to share with you Tiffany's blog. It's called "But I Had A Tiara." You can find her along my side bar. Every Saturday she puts up a post called "Soups On Saturday." People add their name and it links back to your blog where you post your soup recipe for the week. Anyone can do it. It's like show and tell Friday on it's with soup on Saturday. Have a great day. Love, Aunt Kathi
