Snow Days!

Bare with me ladies as this is my first blog post!

It has been so wonderful these last two days. It snowed here Sunday night and since I work at a school, we had a snow day on Monday! I was able to get all of my Christmas cards done, which took about the whole day! I was also able to spend some time relaxing and playing my guitar. Mackenzie had to work and it took him an hour and a half to get home! His drive is normally about 20 minutes!

This is the outside of our home. We've finished remodeling the inside and will be working on the exterior in the spring!

To my surprise this morning, the road conditions were still dangerous, so we had another snow day. Mackenzie has the day off on Tuesdays, so we were a
ble to spend the day together enjoying the snow and watching some movies. We went for a walk this morning and explored the neighborhood. Unfortunately I was unable to get pictures but it was so beautiful. Something about the snow is so peaceful. At least when you aren't driving in it!

So what do you do on a cold, snowy day? Make grilled cheese and soup of course! I love this electric griddle. We received it as a wedding gift and it has been so useful!

Mackenzie doesn't like tomato soup, so he requested applesauce with his grilled cheese instead.

So, we ate our lunch and then snuggled up on the couch to watch a funny movie. Later, we braved the weather for dinner and another movie! It was definitely a day of movies!

Enjoy the rest of the week!

Hello missy! I am sooo exciting that you have a blog and I LOVE your blog name! You are such a cutie pie! You have so many great things you will be able to share with other women to encourage and inspire them! I am so proud of you and I love you so much! I love your lights on the house and your fun, warm and cozy snow day with Mackenzie! I wonder if you will be able to work tomorrow? Eric and I might go shopping and then go visit Cameron at his appartment to see his Christmas decorations, would you mind if we stopped by to see yours? Would you be home in the afternoon?

Have a good evening!
Love Sharon (Mom)
