Christmas Decorations

Good Morning! I thought I'd share a few of our Christmas decorations with you!

We went and picked out this tree from a tree farm and Mackenzie cut it down. I love the way it turned out!

Here's another view of our tree. In this picture, you can see the red berries around the candle on the coffee table. I absolutely love red berries!

Here's a little display on our entry table.

We have this cute little octagon window next to our front door that we can never figure out what to do with. This little tree works great there!

Here's our display on the entertainment center. I love the garland. Although I just realized it's sagging a bit more than usual in the center. I'll have to fix that!

Here's our sweet table. I needed a creative idea of how to display our Christmas cards. My mom gave me this idea to fill the blank spot on the wall! I love it! Sorry for all the blank walls, by the way. We're still in the process of decorating! We have a friend that is actually painting us a picture to go on that wall.

Here's a very small display in my kitchen. I love those Santa candle holders. My mom had around when I was younger and then passed them down to me. They bring back great memories.

This is in our guest bathroom. Simple, yet elegant.

And this idea is from my MIL Sharon! She had this cranberry/floating candle display at her house and I just loved it! She was so nice to give me the floating candle. There I go with the red berries again! :)

Well, I hope you enjoyed our Christmas Decorations! We don't have much yet, being our first Christmas together, but it'll do for now! I'm hoping to add a Nativity scene by next year. We'll see what we can find at the after Christmas sales!

Hi Brittany! I am a faithful reader of Sharon's blog and feel like I know you already! Your wedding was beautiful and it is great to see your blog. Your decorations are so nice, especially the cranberry floating candles. Thanks for sharing and God bless you this Christmas.

I like the little tree in the octagon window. The cranberries are a good idea too. I have a glass trifle bowl that would look great with cranberries in them. We have been married for 10 years and still don't have alot of decorations. What I have up is what has been given to me, or what I find on clearance from the previous year.

Just want to stop in and say Hello. My name is Jennifer and I am back to blogging again. I got here from your Mother in Laws blog. Have a good day!

Just stopping over via your MIL Sharon's site. Congratulations on your recent wedding by the way!

Your new home looks warm and inviting! You've both done a great job of redecorating...and we've seen the before pictures so we know how much work you've put into it.

Welcome to the world of blogging. You'll make wonderful, caring friends I'm sure.

Happy Holidays to you both!

I have an award for you, I think it might be your first. Come by and pick it up if you want to play. I looked at Walmart for "The Shack" but didn't see it. The youth pastor t my church recommended it when I asked what book I could buy my 16 yr old son who is a non-believer.

By the way, I am Sondra, Sharon's blogger friend. I also have 4 boys like her. She is so lucky to have such a sweet girl like you added to her family. I haven't gotten that lucky yet. LOL!

Your home looks very cozy and relaxing. You guys have done a wonderful job remodeling and truly making it a beautiful home. I am so glad to see another young couple working hard to make their dreams come true. My husband and I were 18 and 20 when we got married and people said we would never make it. We are now 27 and 29 with three children and I am more in love with him now than ever! Love reading your blog and look forward to more posts!
